If you are an optician looking for assistance for a patient in need or somewhere to donate your time and services to please do your due diligence in verifying the information is current and services your patients area. Some organizations can be county or city specific.

Easiest way is to find the county you need on the list, verify the number it is assigned, and then look at the program list below to see if anything is available. United Way of Monroe County & IUSO

Services are for free and low cost eye exams and glasses for infants and kids. For more details use the link below.

InfantSEE

According to the American Optometric Association, babies should have their first exam around 6 months of age. This is a time to check that eyes are developing normally, checking for signs of near or farsightedness, lazy eye, crossed eyes or severe cases such as cancer.  For details on this program and to find a participating office use the link below.

IU School of Optometry Community Outreach (IUSOCO)

The IU School of Optometry Commuity Outreach Program or IUSOCO provides access to vision health care services for the medically underserved. At the Indianapolis Eye Care Center, glasses and medically necessary contact lenses are provided to qualified patients at a reduced rate.
